HOLDINGS IN COMPANY: CORRECTION

On 28th July 2009, Formjet plc ("the Company") made an announcement in respect of a notification of major interest in its shares received by the Company from Brewin Dolphin Limited.

Unfortunately, as a result of clerical error in transcription, the announcement was erroneous in two respects:

• the notification was only made as a result of an event changing the breakdown of voting rights, not as a result of an acquisition or disposal of voting rights; and

• the name of the shareholder making the notification was Brewin Dolphin Limited and not, as stated in the announcement, Barclays Stockbrokers Limited.
